Li and Ray shared a vegetarian pizza and a Hawaiian pizza of the same size. The vegetarian pizza was cut into eight equal slices. The Hawaiian pizza was cut into six equal slice. Li ate two slices of the vegetarian pizza and one slice of the Hawaiian pizza. Ray ate two slice of the Hawaiian pizza and one slice of the vegetarian pizza.

a.) Who ate more pizza?

Ray ate more pizza.

b.) How much more did the person eat?

Ray ate 1/24 more pizza.

c.) How much pizza left over?

1/1/8 pizza leftover

What we know:

A.) Ray 1/8 + 2/6 = 16/48 + 20/48

=22/48

=11/24

Li 2/8 + 1/6 = 12/48 + 8/48

= 20/40

=10/24

=5/12

B.) 11/24 - 10/24 = 1/24

C.) 5/8 + 3/6 = 30/48 + 24/48

=54/48

=27/24

= 9/8 1/1/8
