11.One January day in Penticton, British Columbia, the temperature read -6.3*C at 10:00 am, and 1.4*C at 3:00 pm

A)What was the change in temperature?
how to solve:you subtract the temperature from 3:oo pm from 10:00 am because the temperature is decreasing.

Answer:The change in tempurature is 7.7*C

B)What was the average rate of change in tempurature?
how to solve:you divide the answer of (A) (change in temperature) by five because the hours of temperature between ten and three is five.

Step 2 Calculate







Answer:1.54*C is the average rate of change in temperature every hour.
