Step 1.
You will have to put the numbers in order from least to largest.
-4.6, -3.0,-1.1, -0.5, 1.2, 1.5, 2.3
Step 2.
Add up all the numbers.
-4.6 + 3.0 + -1.1 + -0.5 = -9.2
1.2 + 1.5 + 2.3 = 5
-9.2 - 5 = -4.2
Step 3.
Divide by the amount of numbers there are
-4.2 / 7 = 0.6
0.6 is the mean
